ARTIST BIO
Australian based MC Bj Rees aka "Dj North" has been performing and touring as both a DJ and session musician for the past 25 years. He has toured and performed with members from Thirsty Merc, Grinspoon, DIG, The Whitlams, Grammy Award Nominated singer Jai Uttal and his music has been used by The Marvel Franchise for Thor: Love and Thunder release and also across the US and Europe for Rugby Nation television broadcasts. In addition to club gigs he does throughout the year in Australia and Japan he has for the past 10 years (2013 - 2023) been a fulltime resident musician and DJ at The Gold Coasts 6-star premiere hotel "Palazzo Versace".
Dj North has recently wrapped up this summers 3-month residency playing poolside for the hotels VIP guests and in addition to guest spots at the hotel he performs at the venue's private functions and on-site weddings.
Dj North specialises in house styles but is an adept DJ and loves working one-on- one with clients to cater for any events music requests whether that be 80's disco anthems, rock classics, modern dance hits, acoustica setlists or romantic ballads.
